Mountain Summit bourbons and whiskeys are crafted to be an elevated drinking experience. Each named after a different peak in the Wasatch Range, we aim to embody the pinnacle of flavor and experience . Our distilled offerings are 100% grain-to-glass made with regionally sourced grains milled right here at our facility. We take meticulous care in every step of the process, from testing of our grains to the exacting cuts during our distillation to how we position our barrels for aging, so that we can be sure to provide the best quality product every time.

Lone Peak, Single Barrel Bourbon

Named for the 11,253-ft Lone Peak, our Single Barrel Bourbon embodies the same exceptional distinction as the peak it pays homage to. Our bourbon is grain-to-glass, boasting a distinctive mash bill of 68% corn, 18% rye, 8% wheat and 6% barley. Every step of production—from milling and fermenting to distilling, barreling, aging, and bottling–is done at our distillery right here in the Salt Lake Valley. The temperature extremes here in the Wasatch range contribute to the intensity of flavors extracted from the wood, resulting in a full-bodied bourbon with pronounced notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted marshmallow.  Enjoy it neat or on the rocks for a remarkable sipping experience, or savor its robust flavors in your favorite cocktail.

Mount Pfeiferhorn, Amburana Finished Whiskey

Named for the 11,331-ft Mt. Pfeifferhorn, one of the most remote and distinctive peaks in the Wasatch Range, our Amburana Finished Whiskey also a stands out. It’s a distinctive blend of Bourbon and Malt Whiskeys finished with Amburana Wood, giving it a truly unique character. Amburana can as complicated to get right as it is captivating, imparting a vast array of spice notes and flavors, but easily overpowering a whiskey; our finishing and blending technique has been perfected to yield a balanced finished whiskey that is still sweet with caramels and vanillas, but also having a deep complex flavor that Amburana is known for with cinnamon, baking spices, and a hint of fresh coconut. It is an excellent sipper neat or over ice and makes an interesting twist on your favorite cocktail.

Twin Peaks, Toasted Double-Oak Rye

Twin Peaks, Toasted Double-Oak Rye

Named for the 11,461-ft set of peaks on the Alpine Ridge of the Wasatch Range, our Toasted Double-Oak Rye is also extremely distinctive. A bold expression crafted for lovers of rich, rye-forward spirits. Made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, this whiskey delivers a robust grain character with a perfect touch of sweetness. Aged first in charred American oak barrels, it develops deep caramel and vanilla undertones, then re-barreled into toasted oak casks to enhance its complexity.

The double-oaking process infuses layers of toasted marshmallow, warm spices, and a gentle nuttiness that is well balanced with a spicy rye punch. Its lingering finish leaves notes of baking spices, cinnamon, and a kiss of oak. Perfect sipped neat or in classic cocktails like an Old Fashioned, this is rye whiskey redefined—rich, smooth, and unforgettable.
